Trump has never made a promise. He has said what others wanted to hear that would make them conform to Donny’s immediate personal need. What he does later has nothing to do with what he said anytime before, in his mind.
He is a psychopath. Remember that. He does not understand what a promise is, and you cannot shame him when he places no value on what has happened at whatever time.
People hear promises. People want to scold him. We can’t.
Maybe we can invalidate the election. Wishful thinking.
How would we invalidate this election and its cabinet?
Would the Supreme Court award the leadership to another candidate?
Could the Electoral College be re-convened and re-counted?
It is not a matter for the “World Court.”
So we sue each cabinet member into resignation or devastation.
This has been an expensive experience in time, money, planetary survival, human species survival, and lives.
One path: Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) has authored H.R.1987 to set up the commission that is required for the cabinet to use constitutional Article 25 to vote the president out of office. Don’t expect action with all his appointed (and somehow confirmed) Cabinet chiefs.
