Wow! Even with fencing and a police presence, my alma mater is closing.
People put their funding where their values are. “Show me your spending, and I’ll show you your values.”
In 1958 at Morningside HS, Inglewood, California, we had one of my classmates ride his horse through campus at lunch. We were a wide-open campus and loved it.

This is an opportunity for the creep of professional sports to move south from the SoFi Stadium, perhaps as a parking lot or shopping mall.
We cannot be ruled without our consent, therefore we will get the bread* and circuses** we enjoy from electeds. Well, to get the bread part, there are things within our control. We’ll have to:
- collect delinquent (already filed and due) billionaire taxes,
- initiate a Universal Basic Income, and
- bring the death rate and birth rate closer together.
Alternatively, we can surrender our consent to a powerful leader who will shoot anyone who does not agree with him. A free democracy can be voted away at any time, once.
