You can see your native cultural history from the long view and postulate where the current trajectory will lead. I have been a casual student of American history and see a very similar situation here. We know America is respected, but that can quickly become a feature of our past. To maintain our leadership, in which we take pride, we will be required to accept the humanity of different cultures that share our common desire to have our children thrive for a thousand generations. I have chosen the domain name “Civilized Nation” from the text of our Declaration of Independence from British rule. The authors made many references to the abuses by the King of England of his subject American Colonies that came up short of being the behavior of a civilized nation. So we chose independence to establish our own democratic experiment to rule by the people. Of course, capitalism has been let go to the point that the power of wealth has abducted the leadership role and the workers are being abused to further enrich the wealthy. A political rebellion is churning among the people.
Your approach is good for supporting any movement to wrest control from the elite back to the people, administered by democracy.
I hope my approach supports movements to wrest control from corporations and extreme Christians back to our representative democracy.
